Relic Tier List

Relics are the whole product. Dig Haunted Items advertises 50+ haunted finds from Common trinkets to Forbidden treasures, and the Index badges prove the collection is the long-term goal. This board tells you what to do with a piece the second it leaves the dirt: display, haunt, sell, or log-and-dump.

Use it with curse and rarity, the Index checklist, and the museum guide. A pretty Common on the wrong stand still pays less than a cursed Epic on the visitor path.

S — Forbidden and unique keepers

Forbidden is the top rarity in the official description. First Forbidden on an account is S for the Index and S for rent. Even a “ugly” Forbidden goes on a front stand. Unique models you have never logged — glowing skulls, cursed golems, lanterns, haunted trees — are S until the Index ticks, then they stay A as exhibits.

If inventory is full, drop Commons, not the Forbidden. Players who auto-sell from a script learn this the hard way.

A — Epic / high-curse Rare

Epics and high-curse Rares are the Haunting Table’s favorite food. They look good enough for visitors and they still have room to grow. Park them dirty on the plot only long enough to clean, then haunt. Raw-selling an A-tier piece for snack gold is how museums stall.

B — Clean Rares and interesting Uncommons

A clean Rare with no curse tag is a solid stand filler. Interesting Uncommons (anything that is not a duplicate rock) are B until you own three copies, then they fall to C. Use B pieces to complete a wing while you hunt S.

C — Logged Commons

Commons are mandatory once. The Index does not care that they are ugly. After the name is logged, they become C: sell, or stack on a back shelf if you like the clutter. Unlogged Commons are temporarily A — not because they earn rent, but because skipping them blocks Index 50%.

D — Duplicate junk and still-dirty clutter

Duplicate Commons, broken bottles, and anything you refuse to spray are D. Dirty relics cannot display and cannot haunt. If you are too tired to clean, leave them in a chest, do not sell-all. You might still need the name.

Display vs sell vs haunt

ActionWhen
DisplayFirst copy, or any S/A piece that looks unique on the visitor path
HauntHigh curse tag, especially on Rare+
SellLogged duplicates below A
HoldUnidentified dirty relics until you can spray

The Haunting Table is not a trash can. Feeding it D-tier junk wastes the cooldown and your gold.

Forest routing for better rolls

Starter dirt near spawn is Common-heavy. Walk deeper along the fog and dead trees before you spend a luck code. How to dig covers the swing; this board covers what you pick up after the swing. If a sparkle looks brighter or greener, treat it as A until proven otherwise.

Online co-op can help call out sparkles, but the relic goes into the inventory of the player who picked it up. Do not stand on a friend’s Forbidden hoping it duplicates. It will not.

Index first, fashion second

Completed Index is one of the rarest badges in the universe. That is not because Forbidden is impossible; it is because people sell the boring Commons. Every session, open the Index checklist before you sell. If the name is missing, the piece is A for ten seconds, then it can become C.

Shop gold from sold D-tier junk should hit shovel breakpoints on the shovel tier list, not a fourth coffin skin.

When JSK Games adds named relics in a patch, we will slot them into S–D using uniqueness, curse synergy, and Index status — not hype thumbnails.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the top relic rarity?

Forbidden, per the official game description. Treat first copies as S-tier for Index and museum rent.

Should I sell Commons?

After they are logged. Unlogged Commons still matter for complete the Index.

Do I haunt every relic?

No. Haunt high-curse keepers. See curse and rarity and the Haunting Table.
