Getting Started in Dig Haunted Items

Dig Haunted Items is a Roblox museum tycoon from JSK Games, live since August 6, 2026. You spawn on a small plot, walk into a haunted forest, unearth a cursed relic, spray the dirt off, and put the clean piece on a stand so visitors pay you. This beginner guide is only that first hour. Play it on the official experience. Servers hold six players. Online co-op is on; local split-screen is not.

Minute 0–10: tutorial and First Haunted Item

1. Join and wait for the plot to load. Do not sprint into the fog until the HUD buttons appear.
2. Equip the starter shovel. Controls are on the controls page if the prompt is hiding on mobile.
3. Follow the tutorial into the nearest dirt. Swing until a relic pops. That unlocks First Haunted Item! for almost every account that actually digs once.
4. Return to the plot. Do not sell the dirty piece from the forest. Dirty relics are not finished products.

If the tutorial blocks Shop, that is normal. You need one complete cycle before codes and some upgrades appear. Details sit on how to redeem.

Minute 10–20: clean, then display

Equip the starter sprayer. Hold spray on the muddy relic until the dirt breaks. Crystal skulls, stone golems, and lesser trinkets all use the same bottle; only the mess size changes. Full technique: how to clean.

Place the clean relic on the closest stand to the visitor path, not in a corner behind your spawn. The museum guide explains why the first three stands matter more than fences. You now have a paying exhibit. It will not print a fortune. It will print enough to teach you that display beats hoarding dirty junk.

Minute 20–30: daily chest and Shop

Open the daily treasure. The seven-day track is the reliable freebie while shop codes stay unconfirmed. See daily rewards. Then open Shop, scroll, and note where shovels, sprayers, plots, and the codes box live so you are not hunting them later.

Buy the first paid shovel if you can. The tutorial blade is D-tier the moment a luck or power upgrade exists. Rankings: shovel tier list. If you cannot afford it, dig one more forest loop instead of buying a cosmetic gravestone.

Minute 30–50: second forest run

Walk past the spawn dirt. Starter soil is Common-heavy. Follow fog, dead trees, and brighter sparkles. How to dig covers the swing window; this paragraph is only routing. Pick up everything. You need Commons for the Index even if they look like trash. Park unlogged names using the Index checklist.

When inventory fills, go home. Clean keepers. Sell logged duplicates. Do not sell an unlogged Common because it is ugly.

Minute 50–60: first real decision

You will see a curse tag on something. If it is your only copy, display it. If it is a duplicate with high curse, stop and read the Haunting Table page before you mash the table. Feeding your only unique model to a bad roll is the classic hour-one mistake.

Spend leftover gold with the upgrade planner: shovel, then sprayer, then a plot tile. Ignore scripts on this account. You do not have enough Index progress to gamble the cookie.

What success looks like at the one-hour mark

• First Haunted Item badge.
• At least one clean relic on a front stand.
• Daily chest claimed.
• A plan for Day 7.
• A shovel that is not the tutorial stick, or a clear gold target for it.
• Zero unidentified muddy piles rotting in the backpack.

If you have those, you are past the tutorial even if the game still shows a helper arrow. Go play. Come back to the Guides Hub when cleaning feels slow or the Index bar will not move.

Friends can join the same six-player server and tour the plot. They cannot claim your daily chest or log your relics. Wave, then go dig your own dirt.
